For the THIRD week in a row, I will be gracing the Monday night stage at Jacque’s Cabaret in Boston. They might as well just give me my own dressing room, really now.
This week’s show is called CHERRY, and it’s all about newness. New performers, old performers trying new things, achieving new heights of glam and trash. This edition will feature hosts Becca d’Bus and Katya, and guest artist HavaHart, who, while she is a newcomer to burlesque, is no newcomer to the performative arts (hint hint, think Femme Show, what else starts with “Hava”?…) and myself. In the spirit of newness, I’m going to try something I haven’t done onstage yet: singing! And NOT opera, this time…
